Chapter Name: Conduct project close out activities under close supervision of an experience project manager

Description:Learners participate in performing close out activities such as final reporting, closure checklists, release of resources, and conducting retrospectives, under supervision.

Purpuse:To provide learners hands-on experience in finalizing project activities and evaluating outcomes, enabling reflective learning.

Rational:Actively closing a project helps learners understand the value of final reviews and knowledge capture, reinforcing best practices for continuous improvement.

Portfolio of Evidence 1: Project close out documentation - A compilation or summary showing the learner’s involvement in producing final reports, lessons learned, or stakeholder approval forms.

Portfolio of Evidence 2: Workplace log book - Documentation of daily tasks performed by the learner during the project closure phase.

Activity 1: Attend to project close out activities for at least two projects

Apply all aspects of close-out activities (verification, demobilization, administration) across two projects



Activity 2: Attend to final project verification and customer satisfaction assessment

Attend to final project verification and customer satisfaction assessment including reflection on the achievement of final specifications, project success, effectiveness and lessons learned



Activity 3: Attend to project resource demobilisation and termination procedures

Attend to resource demobilisation and termination, completion and settlement of contracts and resolution of any open items
